Illumination’s dam is Peruvian Itabuna, who was chosen in the first round of the 1996 Peruvian import. Her sire is Peruvian Dakotia, a champion in his own right and was the producer of MFI Jericho, the sire of Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah, who won Herdsire of the Year 3 years in a row. When bred to Glenstone's Aquavella, a light fawn male with a white neck and head, her cria was light fawn with a white neck and head! Her black crias, Ignite and Immendorff, have sired crias of their own! Ignite has a true black son and Immendorff has two sons, a dark rose grey and a medium silver grey. He has more on the way!
