National Alpaca Farm Days
Visit our farm in Preston, MD as part of National Alpaca Farm Days
We are so excited about our festival taking place the last weekend of September! Since 2008 we have been providing guests with a quality experience on the beautiful and scenic eastern shore of Maryland, and this year there's a special twist. Not only will Saturday and Sunday mark our 10th annual celebration, for the first time in several years we are also a part of "National Alpaca Farm Days".
Organized by the Alpaca Owners Association, Inc. (AOA), National Farm Days provides the public with a unique opportunity to get up close with the animals and find out more about their wonderful fiber. The event encourages visitors to explore local farms and ranches to talk with the owners, enjoy shopping for unique products and learn about raising the lovable alpacas. Visitors can also learn how alpacas are a green business opportunity, as they are animals that are sensitive to their environment in every respect!
We are delighted to once again share our farm with the public and offer a wonderful experience that is suitable for all ages. Located in Caroline County, about 2 hours from the city areas of Annapolis, Baltimore and Northern Virginia, this is a great opportunity for an afternoon adventure or overnight trip to explore the Delmarva Peninsula. Guests can look forward to highlights such as:
- Meeting the alpacas
- Local Arts and Craft vendors
- Children's activities
- Live music by Silhouette Song
- Fiber products for sale
- Spinning demonstrations
- Moon Bounce
- And More!
For information on planning your visit please see our events page or follow our social media accounts. We look forward to seeing you here at the farm!
