Fleece Prep

My partner in crime, Vickie hard at work cleaning a fleece in preparation to be sent to a local fiber mill to be processed into yarn. This is referred to as "skirting" a fleece and doing so properly ensures having nice clean yarn to offer our customers. Vickie excels at this and is meticulous in cleaning our fleeces. All of the yarn we offer in our store is from our own alpacas and is processed locally. "Maryland Made"
